Engineer (Fire Safety) On Site

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing fire service engineering projects, including scheduling, site coordination, system installation, documentation, and testing & commissioning

• Ensure all fire protection systems comply with Hong Kong fire safety regulations and relevant codes of practice

• Provide technical support and propose system improvements to enhance fire safety performance

• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and government authorities to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery

• Conduct risk assessments and contribute to fire safety strategy development for complex building environments

• Support the preparation of technical submissions, drawings, and compliance documentation

• Report project progress, critical issues, and changes to the Project Manager in a timely manner

• Perform other duties as assigned to support project and team objectives

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or above in Fire Services, Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in fire services project coordination and system installation

• Familiarity with Hong Kong Fire Services Department (FSD) requirements and local fire safety regulations

• Experience in fire engineering design, testing & commissioning, or compliance documentation is an advantage

• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a proactive and collaborative team player

• Eagerness to learn and grow within the fire engineering field
