Water Sports Manager

Main Duties :

1.Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Deep Water Bay Clubhouse's sports facilities,

2.Manage the day-to-day operations of the water sports department in Deep Water Bay, including budgeting, inventory control, and staff scheduling.

3.Lead the staff to deliver exceptional customer service, including handling inquiries, bookings, and competition registrations

4.Collaborate with the HKDBA (Hong Kong Dragon Boat Association )and the Hong Kong China Swimming Association and the Hong Kong China Canoe Association, and other suitable associations to develop, coach and lead water sports programmes.

5.Liaise with Government departments, schools, media, sponsors and other related parties for matters concerning programmes administered, extending which may be beneficial to the VRC.

6.Oversee the maintenance and inspection of all water sports equipment to ensure it is in good working condition, including the slipway and pontoon.

7.Any other jobs that the General Manager requested.

Requirements:

1.      A recognized degree in physical education, sports, or related studies.

2.      A minimum of 5 years of professional coaching experience and a proven record of achievement in Water Sports

3.      Proficient in using social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and others.

4.      Holder of a current SCRC

5.      Extensive experience in sports management and preferably with a strong understanding of club and committee structures.

6.      Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and engage both staff and members.

7.      Expertise in event planning, financial management, and stakeholder collaboration.

8.      A recognized CPR and First Aid certification.

9.      Relevant water sports certifications from DBA, HKCCU, etc.
