Position Overview:

Brink’s is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Assistant Financial Controller to support the Finance Director in relation to managerial accounting activities. Analyse operational performance, costs measurement, and profitability of the business units. Develop budget and forecast to facilitate management decision. Ensure compliance with international accounting standards and local ordinances, as well as to follow and implement the group’s policy and procedure within the function.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Assistant Financial Controller, you will report to Finance Director, your responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:

• Elaborate budget, estimate and monthly forecasts for the entrusted scope of activity with the Finance Director and in interface with Corporate Controlling Department
• Develop the occasional or regular analyses and syntheses aimed at the subsidiary and or head-office
• Help the line personnel in understanding the P&L, Balance Sheet, and facilitate in the decisions making process
• Continuously monitor profitability to ensure sustainability within budgets
• Continuously monitor costs to highlight to the Management of any possible cost overrun that might be identified
• Identify preventive and reactive actions to protect IBT for the affiliate
• Prepare and forward the required information for internal and external audits
• Elaborate and make sure the Group’s standards and procedures, as regards the management, are strictly comply with
• Perform ad hoc assignments as required

Qualification:

• Degree holder in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration or equivalent disciplines
• Qualification of ACCA/CPA or similar practice
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experiences gained from large MNC
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Cantonese, with knowledge of Mandarin as a bonus:
• Detail-minded, mature and independent, can work under pressure
• Proficiency in MS suite; experience in Oracle system a plus
• Ability to mentor/train the team members/sub-ordinates
