Regional Senior Accountant

• Hands on experience in SAP implementations
• Experience from MNC, FMCG & retail industry is preferred
• Immediate start

RESPONSIBILITES                                                                                                      

Financial Accounting and Reporting

• Handle day-to-day bookkeeping activities including accounts payable, expense accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, depreciation, and general ledger entries

• Responsible for intercompany recharge processes and ensure timely follow-up on receivables and settlements

• Responsible for the month-end closing process and preparing monthly accounting schedules and reconciliations, including margin and inventory reconciliations, as well as intercompany reconciliations

• Supervise and guide outsourced accountants in processing vendor invoices and managing invoice settlements

• Collaborate effectively with internal departments and Paris HQ, as well as external stakeholders, such as vendors and bankers, to gather information and resolve issues.

• Assist in annual budget, audit and tax filing

• Assist in ad-hoc projects as assigned by Regional Finance Controller

Implementation of SAP project

• Participate in the data migration tasks of SAP system implementation

• Responsible for assisting the local finance team with SAP system implementation, including data migration and user acceptance testing before go-live

• Perform data mapping and resolve mismatches or discrepancies during migration.

• Assist the local finance team with SAP onboarding and provide training support.

• Assist in system migration in APAC region and support affiliate teams as needed.                                                                                                                                                                                            

REQUIREMENTS                                                                                                                    

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or relevant disciplines

• At least 5 years' accounting experience is preferably gained from MNC, FMCG & Retail industry.

• SAP experience strongly preferred

• Hands-on, responsible, independent, self-motivated and ability to meet tight deadlines

• Team player, self-starter, problem solving skills, good interpersonal skills, and attention to detail

• Strong MS Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, SUMIF, etc.), MS Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese ((Cantonese and Mandarin))

• Immediate availability is highly preferred

• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Regional Accountant
