Assistant Claims Manager (Pre-Approval Services)

Responsibilities:

Manage and assess medical claims/ complain within authority, ensuring timely and accurate processing while managing customer expectation with flexible solution;

Coordinate and support insurance companies/network provider on daily operation level including data analysis, gathering user requirements etc;

Liaise and negotiate with insurance companies/ network provider in regard claims cases such as investigation or fees negotiation;

Assist Team Head to supervise and lead the operation team to achieve KPI and support driving initiatives to improve operations efficiency and customer experience;

Work efficiently with cross-functional departments (incl. external parties) to ensure assignment are delivered on time and aligned with insurance company strategy and guidelines;

Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders with clear and effective communication.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in insurance, Business Administration, Nursing, or related field;

Minimum 5 years of experience in customer service, insurance, or medical industry;

Experience in handling medical Pre-Approval is a strong advantage;

Proven track record in delivering excellent customer service; self-motivated and a good team player;

Proactive, independent, and able to work under minimal supervision;

Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English and Mandarin;

Holder of IIQE/ CII/ ANZIIF qualifications will be a strong advantage.
