IT Technical Support Trainee

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Technical Support professional to join our growing team at Sinocorp Development Limited. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing efficient and effective technical support to our users, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and infrastructure. Based in our Sheung Wan office in Central and Western District, you will be a key part of our organisation's IT support function.

What you'll be doing

1. Troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of technical issues reported by users, including hardware, software, and network problems
2. Provide first-line support and liaise with users to understand and diagnose problems
3. Escalate more complex issues to the appropriate IT team members for further investigation and resolution
4. Assist with the deployment and configuration of new hardware and software
5. Participate in IT projects and initiatives as needed

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 1 years of experience in an IT support or helpdesk role
2. A relevant diploma or degree in Information Technology or a related discipline is required.
3. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a good understanding of hardware, software, and network technologies
4. Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
5. Working knowledge of common operating systems, office productivity software, and a solid understanding of networking basics are essential.
