職位描述

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and troubleshooting data uploads to Google Cloud and ensuring the smooth operation in Data Center. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies, data management and technical support processes. The Senior Associate will work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain high operational standards, resolve technical issues and ensure successful data transfers and storage within Google Cloud.

 

Responsibilities:

Data Migration to Google Cloud

  • Oversee the end-to-end process of uploading large datasets to Google Cloud Storage (GCS) and other cloud platforms.

  • Diagnose and resolve upload-related issues including API errors, connectivity challenges and access control problems.

  • Ensure data integrity and optimal transfer performance by applying industry best practices for large-scale data operations.

  • Continuously monitor and refine upload workflows to maximize efficiency and minimize failure rates.

  • Partner with engineering and operations teams to automate and streamline data ingestion pipelines.

  • Manage and monitor data center infrastructure to maintain peak system performance.

  • Conduct routine system checks, software updates and hardware maintenance.

  • Execute data backup procedures and safeguard cloud and on-premise storage integrity.

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to deploy and configure new servers and systems.

  • Enforce data security standards and contribute to regulatory and compliance initiatives.

Technical Support

  • Deliver Tier-2 and Tier-3 support for data upload, storage and cloud integration issues.

  • Address technical inquiries from internal teams and customers promptly and professionally.

  • Troubleshoot complex hardware, software and network issues affecting data uploads.

  • Liaise with Google Cloud support and third-party vendors to resolve and escalate critical incidents.

  • Partner with operations, engineering and cloud infrastructure teams to ensure seamless data flows and aligned processes.

  • Maintain thorough documentation of upload procedures, system configurations and issue resolutions.

  • Support onboarding and mentorship of junior team members through training and knowledge sharing.

  • Monitor data upload performance metrics and generate regular progress and issue reports.

  • Propose and implement process improvements to boost upload speed, stability and reliability.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.

  • Over 2 years of experience in technical support or system administration, with emphasis on data management and cloud services.

  • Proficient in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly Google Cloud Storage (GCS) and other cloud-based storage solutions.

  • Hands-on expertise in data upload workflows, cloud integration and resolving related technical issues.

  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, APIs, cloud infrastructure and cloud security practices.

  • Familiar with server hardware, enterprise storage systems and data center monitoring tools.

  • Strong analytical, communication and customer service skills.

  • Adept at multitasking in high-paced environments with shifting priorities.

  • Experience with automation tools and scripts for data management.

  • Familiarity with cloud migration, database management and backup solutions.

  • Knowledge of security protocols and compliance standards for cloud service.
