Job Responsibilities:
Planning:
-
To consolidate, coordinate and develop strategic plans of Social Services Department
-
Prepare plan for centre's smooth operation and further development, including business, church and community networking (specifically in the Sheung Shui and Yuen Long districts) and fundraising
Leading:
-
Supervise colleagues to support programme collaboration, referrals, outreach, and volunteer arrangement
-
Identify opportunities to develop social and community services to meet service users' need and to maintain the centre's sustainability, i.e. fundraising
-
Conduct research on available services and resources in the community to identify gaps in services that can be addressed in alignment with the centre's / department's strategic plan
-
Lead the team to introduce the centres' services to guests, government officers, donors and stakeholders are required
Organizing:
-
Oversee the centre's operation, including daily administration, services delivered, programme implementation, Develop and implement policies and procedures
-
Identify opportunities to improve existing programmes and develop new ones
-
Recruit, train and supervise staff members
-
Prepare figures, summarizes, reports, proposals presentations, assessments, evaluations, etc as required.

Coordinate services with outside agencies, organizations, churches and government departments
-
Liaise and collaborate with various stakeholders to maintain rapport, develop new initiatives, enlarge business networks, and enhance service quality

Support fundraising and marketing goals in partnership with other teams and jointly develop funding proposal, prepare and direct fundraising activities and donor engagement activities

Develop service funding proposals, including prospect research, case for support, budgeting, outcomes framework, and compliance with funder requirements
Controlling:
-
Monitor and evaluate the implementation and effectiveness of programmes (funded and self-financed) through regular meetings, supervision sessions and KPI specified by the programme and the funders

Monitor and evaluate staff's working performance regularly and prepare annual performance appraisals
Job Requirement:
-
Bachelor's Degree or above in Social Work

Registered Social Worker
-
Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in Social Service field , with at least 5 years in a supervisory role
-
Church network development experience is perferred
-
Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills
-
Good command of both oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese
