IT OPERATIONS MANAGER

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily IT operations to ensure seamless delivery of services, systems, and networks while proactively identifying areas for improvement.
• Lead the Helpdesk and Project Support Teams, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures, regularly updating them to adapt to changing business needs and technology trends.
• Monitor and analyze IT application performance, providing strategic recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and user satisfaction.
• Manage suppliers and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring that technology requirements and quality standards are consistently met.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT services with the organization's strategic goals and operational needs.
• Manage the IT budget, conducting regular reviews to control expenses and optimize resource allocation in line with annual targets.
• Prepare and present regular performance reports, tracking team progress and outcomes to stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for all operational processes, ensuring knowledge transfer and continuity.
• Continuously seek opportunities to enhance business operations, such as by integrating AI applications.
• Continuously evaluate IT infrastructure, partnering with the IT infrastructure team to identify and implement upgrade opportunities that drive innovation.
• Support ad hoc duties and projects as assigned from time to time from Build King Management.

Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in IT, preferably from the construction industry.
• Demonstrated experience in IT or Operations Management roles.
• Proficiency in MS O365 and Windows Server/AD support; familiarity with VMWare, MS Azure, and Veeam backup operations.
• Experience in ITSM operations and solutions (e.g., ServiceNow, ManageEngine) is advantageous.
• Relevant IT industry certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, Network+, Security+, AWS, Azure) preferred.
• Self-initiative, detail-oriented, and independent with strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Immediate availability preferred.
• Candidate with less experience and/or qualification might be considered for other openings within the organization.
