Solution Architect

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation the solution using various technologies and programming languages.

• Collaborate with various stakeholders to determine and collect software development requirements.

• Lead the development teams to estimate and prepare the resources, costs ,effort ,risks assessments and BOMs for the software development projects

• Create user requirements specification, integrated functional specifications, and related technical design documentation.

• Present and handle the questions/ issues for stakeholders.

• Ensure code quality through code reviews, unit testing, automated tests, and continuous integration. 

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to coding or design.

• Provide supervision and guidance to development teams.

• Continuously research current and emerging technologies, proposing changes as needed.

• Inform and escalate to stakeholders about any problems with the current technical solutions being implemented.

• Assess the business/technical impact of specific technical choices.

Job Requirements

• University graduate or higher in Computer Science or a related field.

• Prefer 5+ years of technical lead experience in software development in sizable IT suppliers.

• 5+ years of solid experience in engineering and software architecture design, with a strong focus on Java.

• Solid knowledge of SDLC and DevOps and having practical experience of SIT, UAT and Production Migration.

• Familiarity with Cloud related development is highly desirable.

• Understanding of Containerized application development is a plus. 

• Project management experience is a plus.

• Experience with government/ public utility projects is advantageous.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

• Strong organizational and leadership abilities.

• Proficient in writing, presentation, and communication skills.

• Fluency in both English and Chinese.
