Accountant / Senior Accountant (Ref: JD_ Acct/SrAcct_20260116)

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for month-end closing (GL, AP, Treasury functions)

• Prepare reporting and balance sheet schedules

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Prepare statutory reporting, tax filing, ensuring all necessary filings and payments are made accurately and on time

• Co-ordinate with external auditors on annual audit

• Co-ordinate with other external parties including bank for treasury requirements and company secretaries for statutory filing matters

• Participate in process improvement and system implementation

• Handle ad hoc duties as required 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Qualified member of CPA or equivalent is an advantage

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably having audit experience

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels

• Proficient in financial software, spreadsheet applications, and data analysis tools commonly used

• Thorough knowledge of Hong Kong financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements

• Ability to set priorities, manage deadlines and work under pressure

• Business conscious, willing to accept challenges and changes as well as detail-minded

• Immediately available is a plus
