Permit Officer

Safety and Operational Risk Department is under Cathay Subsidiary Services umbrella providing services Cathay Pacific Airways Limited’s subsidiaries including Cathay Cargo Terminal, Cathay Dining, Hong Kong Airport Services Limited and Vogue Laundry Service Limited.

Responsibilities

• To work under the direct supervision of the Senior Permit Officer, in his/her absence, the Security Specialist.
• To ensure the operation within CCT Permit Office is carried out smoothly and orderly.
• To process applications for CCT permits in accordance with the CCT TRA ASP.
• To be responsible for security check of all ID documents submitted for permit applications.
• To keep close contact with the AA Permit Office and to process applications for ARA permits.
• To upkeep all permit application forms, supporting documents and training records in good order.
• Support other CX subsidiaries for matters of safety and security and completes other projects/ assignments as directed by the Safety and Security Manager.
• Any ad hoc duties as assigned by Superior(s).

Qualifications and Experience

• Tertiary or DSC level education qualification with working experience. Former security operations experience will be an advantage.
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Details oriented and shall be a self-motivated team player.
• Able to work independently and under pressure.
