Registered Safety Officer

About the role

Geotechnics & Concrete Engineering (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a Registered Safety Officer to join our team on a full-time basis. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety and environmental compliance of our construction projects, playing a key part in maintaining a safe and productive working environment.

Job Description

• Ensure the safety status and environmental status comply with the contract, customers' and company's requirement

• Maintain the management system

• Ensure the construction works are carried out safely

• Conduct safety training and safety walk at stated schedule

• Attend the meeting with the clients and in-house staff and response to their queries

• Handle all safety and environmental issues and preventions

• Submission of relevant documents to various government departments

• Responsible for safety inspection regularly

• Immediate available is highly preferred

Job Requirements

• Higher Diploma or above in Occupational Safety and Health or Construction related subjects

• MUST be registered as a Safety Officer by the Labour Department

• Obtain the safety training certificate or equivalent is required

• Good command in English is preferred

• Proficient in the management system

• Well-versed in teamwork spirit and able to work under pressure

• Experienced in marine project is preferable

• Safety card and Blue card holder
