Works supervisor (building works) (WS(BW))

Place of Duty: FL48 site location

Duties: Refer to requirement. (Pages 4 - 32)

Qualification/Experience:

(I) The WS(BW) shall at minimum possess a Certificate in building or building studies from a Hong Kong Polytechnic University / Polytechnicor Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education / Technical Institute / Technical College or equivalent; and has attained the language proficiency requirements of Level 2' or above in Chinese Language and English Language in Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (DSEE) or Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent (Note: "Grade E' in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to Level 2' in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth); together with 3 years relevant experience in building works after obtaining the technical qualifications.

(II) WS (BW) shall have attended the following safety training:-

(a) Safety and Health Supervisor (Construction) Course;

(b) Basic Accident Prevention Course;

(c) Construction Industry Safety Card Course (Green Card); and

(d) Certified Worker Training Course for Confined Spaces.
