Project Engineer / Assistant Engineer - Distribution Cable Trenching

To perform construction, modification and maintenance project tasks at distribution overhead line network from Low Voltage to High Voltage power level. The job holder is principally to assist the Project Manager with provision of project management, technical support and site supervision to meet the CLP’s service requirements specified in the contract.  The duties include but not limited to: 

Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily site inspection / checking and rectify site defect if needed.
• Prepare and organize inspection record (i.e. video, photo, report) and submit to relevant system.
• Coordinate well with subcontractors to execute the site work and compliance with relevant authorities as well as client's requirement.
• Liaise with CLP, Utilities, Government parties, non-government organizations and stakeholder to enable smooth progress of project on site.
• Manage the permit application process and site progress to ensure timely completion of work
• Prepare the Handover report for invoicing and follow up on the payment from CLP and subcontractors
   

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma or above in Civil / Electrical / Building Services or related disciplines.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Good communication and interpersonal skill
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Willing to work in outdoor & natural environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with Chinese Word Processing
• Holder of valid Green Card and Construction Workers Registration Card
• A responsible driver with valid driving licence (Class 1 & 2)
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Engineer
