Business Development Manager

• Chemistry or Biomedical Science background
• 5+ years experiences in business planning
• Business strategy

Qualifications:

• MPhil or PhD degree in Chemistry or Biomedical Sciences or Life Sciences or related disciplines.
• Research experiences in at least one of the areas including Cancer Biology, Therapeutics and Diagnostics, Immuno-Oncology, Synthetic Chemistry, and Medicinal Chemistry are highly desirable.
• 5+ years experiences in business planning, consulting and/or development, relevant to medical and regulatoryaffairs are also highly desired.
• Sound and track record in Intellectual Property, Investigational New Drug, Technology Transfer, Patent Filing, Licensing and Commercialization.
• Knowledge for registration and regulatory filings procedures for FDA, NMPA, other key regulatory agencies, as well as various funding organizations will be a plus.
• Excellent in both spoken and written of English and Chinese. Fluency in verbal Mandarin is much preferred.
• Self-motivated, good at communication, able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Work closely with internal research and technical teams on IP right, patenting, licensing and commercial issues.

Responsibilities and roles:

• Work closely with external collaborative partners such as stakeholders, CRO, regulatory and legal parties to achieve deliverables.
• Plan and execute business strategy to acquire new business opportunities.
• Lead business plan and to achieve operational goals.
• Align and leverage internal resources to implement strategic collaborative partnerships with pharmaceutical industry, academia, NGO and funding agencies.
• Plan and coordinate commercial activities for promoting research activities.
