Job Description

The Department of Marketing of the CUHK Business School (also known as the Faculty of Business Administration) is looking for a candidate to take up the position of Project Co-ordinator II for the Master of Science (MSc) in Marketing programme.

The appointee will be responsible for (a) co-ordinating student admissions, including vetting and validating applications, verifying academic qualifications, analysing admission data, processing scholarships, and handling related tasks; (b) managing procurement and financial documentation, including quotations, payment processing, and reimbursement duties; (c) designing programme artwork, and developing marketing materials and advertisements to attract international students; (d) co-ordinating programme events, such as recruitment events, marketing activities, orientation activities, graduation ceremonies, and alumni events; (e) supporting activities during weekday evenings and weekends, if needed; and (f) performing other impromptu duties as assigned.

Applicants should have (i) a good Bachelor’s degree; (ii) at least 2 years’ post-qualification work experience, preferably in the tertiary education field; (iii) a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); (iv) a strong sense of responsibility, good interpersonal and problem-solving skills; and (v) self-initiative, with the ability to work independently and multitask under tight deadlines. Having competency in video production and design is preferred. Having knowledge of digital media marketing, as well as experience with software applications such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, and CapCut, is advantageous. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to 2 years (with contract-end gratuity for a 2-year contract), renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
