Job Description

Location: Causeway Bay, Hong Kong

Department: Vice-Chairman’s Office / Institute of Sustainability and Technology

Reports to: Managing Director of Sustainability

Overview:

We seek an enthusiastic and dedicated Partnership Engagement Associate to expand our organisation's impact through strategic relationships with multilateral organisations, academic institutions, governmental agencies, and corporate clients. This unique role bridges sales and project management, requiring a dynamic professional capable of content creation, direct outreach, and multifaceted project coordination, including fundraising endeavours. The immediate focus will be driving projects such as the Innovation Challenge, scholarship programs, and the expansion of executive education in China.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Partnership Development and Engagement:
  • Cultivate new partnerships and strengthen existing relationships with multilateral organisations, universities, governmental entities, and corporate stakeholders.
  • Act as a primary point of contact and partner liaison, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  1. Sales, Administration and Project Support:
  • Collaborate on and implement strategies for outreach, sales, and engagement, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Coordinate across multiple projects, keeping initiatives on schedule and within budget, and consistently meeting project deliverables.
  • Support team for all administrative, finance and reporting tasks.
  • Prepare compelling content and presentation materials for meetings, events, and initiatives.
  • Conduct targeted outreach efforts to engage stakeholders in collaborations, events, and fundraising activities.
  • Assist in the development and execution of fundraising strategies for events, conferences, and other initiatives.
  • Coordinate event logistics, including participant engagement, venue selection, and post-event follow-up.
  • Play a pivotal role in the administration of the Innovation Challenge, scholarship programs, and the expansion of executive education in China.
  • Support the design and delivery of program materials and coordinate between participants, educators, and stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, International Relations, Development Studies, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience, preferably involving the United Nations or other multilateral organisations.
  • Fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin); proficiency in Cantonese  is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in a sales or fundraising role, with a track record of meeting targets.
  • Strong project management skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an aptitude for negotiation and networking.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM systems.
