Job Description
Job Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day operations. Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and achieve business objectives;

Provide leadership and direction of departmental managers and supervisors, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities;
-
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and operational benchmarks to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive operational excellence;
-
Scale up existing programs and expand the portfolio of projects and ensure high-quality programming, proposals and reporting, and effective advocacy;
-
Monitor the progress of anticipated output and outcome, budget spending, and manage project evaluation and impact assessment across all centers;
-
Prepare papers, compile statistical /financial / progress reports, report on special situations, and make recommendations to management;
-
Reach out to, liaise, and engage with the organisation's stakeholders to advance the organization's interest and take appropriate/necessary actions to address the issues;
-
Monitor public affairs developments relate to social services that may affect or impact the organization's interest and take appropriate /necessary actions to address the issues;

Participate in and support the organization's public affairs and community services, and related activities;
-
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and safety regulations in all operational activities;
-
Identify risks, vulnerabilities, and opportunities in operational processes and develop strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities;
-
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability within the operations team, encouraging feedback and collaboration;
-
Any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements:
-
Registered Social Worker with Degree or above in Social Worker, Management, Theology, or relevant disciplines with top-notch management skills;
-
Minimum 8-10 years relevant work experience, with 5 years at mid-senior level, preferably in the social welfare, public administration, or charity field with a proven track record in project management, fund applications, new projects set up, and staff supervision;

Demonstrated experience in strategic oversight role of funding portfolio and in collaborating with different stakeholders, including government bureau/departments, funding bodies, NGOs, community and ethnic minority groups, etc;

Highly developed management relationship-building, and influencing skills;
-
Ability to analyze strategic trends, think creatively, and develop appropriate plans and responses;

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to establish working relationships with all levels of people;
-
With a strong passion for serving vulnerable groups in HK;
-
Excellent command of spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
