Import Operation Clerk/ Officer

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Import Operation Clerk/Officer to join us. In this full-time position, you will play a vital role in supporting our import freight and logistics operations, ensuring seamless customer service and efficient cargo handling.

 What you'll be doing

• Manage import shipment documentation and liaise with customers, customs, and other stakeholders to ensure timely clearance and delivery
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests related to import shipments in a professional and responsive manner
• Coordinate with warehouse and transport teams to organize the receipt, storage, and delivery of import cargo
• Maintain accurate records and database of import shipment information
• Assist with the preparation of reports and analysis related to import operations
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of import processes and customer service

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar import customer service or freight forwarding role
• Strong knowledge of import documentation, customs clearance procedures, and logistics operations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with customers and internal teams
• Proficient in data entry, record-keeping, and using relevant software applications
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Good command of written Chinese & English and spoken in English and Mandarin
