Key Responsibilities

Prepare RFI, RFQ, and RFP documents and participate in the tender process, including meetings and negotiations with vendors.
Analyze bidding results and determine vendor allocation to achieve cost savings while maintaining service quality.
Estimate and report cost savings; monitor barge/feeder usage across local offices.
Maintain CCA and rate agreements in line with company standards.
Collaborate with HQ legal and insurance departments to finalize binding contracts.
Ensure accurate and up-to-date costing in SAP and ZIMAP systems.
Audit rate accuracy and resolve discrepancies with Finance.
Conduct daily rate negotiations and secure vendor space for new or challenging demands.
Respond to internal inquiries regarding rates, DG acceptance, operations, and market conditions.
Monitor vendor performance and resolve issues with internal teams and vendors.
Identify market-driven cost-saving initiatives and support budget preparation.
Handle ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Who we are looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience in the shipping industry or related fields.
Bachelor’s degree in Shipping, Logistics, or a relevant discipline; other degrees will be considered.
Strong analytical skills with solid business modeling and numerical acumen.
Results-driven with a proactive mindset.
Proficient in English and Mandarin.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
Willingness to travel occasionally as required.
