About the Role:
We are looking for a strategic and visionary leader to shape the Christmas gifting experience for our brand worldwide.As the Senior Global Christmas Packaging & Marketing Manager, you will be the driving force behind our seasonal strategy, with a primary focus on developing culturally resonant campaigns and packaging for the mainland China market, while seamlessly adapting them for global audiences. This role requires a unique blend of artistic creativity, commercial acumen, and deep cultural understanding.
Key Responsibilities:
· Strategy & Development: Lead the end-to-end strategy for Christmas gift packaging and marketing, from concept to execution, for both mainland China and overseas markets.
· Cultural Expertise: Leverage your deep understanding of mainland Chinese customs, consumer behavior, and festive culture (including gifting etiquette and digital trends) to create highly engaging and effective campaigns.
· Packaging Design Leadership: Spearhead the creative direction for Christmas packaging, ensuring it is innovative, brand-appropriate, and resonates with the aesthetic preferences and functional needs of the target markets.
· Integrated Marketing Campaigns: Develop and execute 360° marketing plans encompassing digital, social media, retail, and PR to drive seasonal brand awareness and sales growth.
· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product development, design, sales, and supply chain teams in China and internationally to ensure flawless project delivery.
· Market Analysis & Travel: Conduct frequent market research and analysis. This role requires extensive travel across mainland China to understand regional nuances, visit suppliers, and collaborate with local teams.
· Budget & Performance Management: Own the seasonal budget, track campaign performance, and report on ROI, making data-driven recommendations for future initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:
· Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Art Direction, Design, Business, or a related field.
· A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in marketing, packaging design, or brand management, with a proven track record in seasonal campaigns (Christmas essential).
· Must have a deep familiarity with mainland Chinese customs, culture, and current market trends. Prior experience working extensively in the China market is required.
· Must be willing and able to undertake frequent travel across mainland China.
· A strong portfolio demonstrating successful integration of artistic creativity with commercial marketing strategies.
· Full professional proficiency in both Mandarin and English is essential for communication with local teams and international stakeholders.
Preferred Candidates (Will be prioritized):
· Candidates with a combined background in Marketing and Artistic Creation (Art Direction, Design, etc.).
· Experience in the giftware, luxury goods, FMCG, or retail industry.
· Proficiency with digital marketing tools and a strong understanding of China's key social media platforms (e.g., WeChat, Douyin, Little Red Book).
