Project Engineer (Electronic Security / ELV System)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct security equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and system programming according to Convergint’s standards
• Participate in project management
• Assist and provide technical support to sales and other departments
• Carry out system troubleshooting and problem-solving
• Conduct on-site client training
• Develop in-depth system design and drawings using AutoCAD
• Maintain a high level of knowledge in security systems
   

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer or related Engineering disciplines
• Minimum 3 years work experience in security and/or electronic system project implementation and commissioning 
• Basic IT knowledge in security hardware, network and databases
• Familiar with security access control system, CCTV and alarm system products and systems is an advantage
• Willing to work on-site
• Project management experience is an advantage
• Past experience with Lenel, Gallagher and S2 systems is an advantage
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Customer service oriented
• A quick learner
• With a valid Security Personnel Permit (Cat D) is preferred
• Candidates with more experience will be considered as Senior position
