Analyst Programmer (Public Sector, JAVA Programming/ReactJS/Mobile application)

Our client is the public sector of Hong Kong. They are seeking an Analyst Programmer with extensive experience in API development and cross-platform mobile app development for their in-house application.

Responsibility:

·        To assist in the development and maintenance of IT applications, including system analysis & design, programming, system testing, acceptance testing, documentation and ongoing support

·       To perform system analysis and design work for enhancement items relatively simple in nature

·        To perform programming involving complex logic

·        To assist in providing training, technical support and advice to users of IT systems and in IT activities

Requirements:

·       Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or related disciplines

·       At least 3 years of post-qualification experience in IT environment or similar capacity

·       Solid experience in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot on JBOSS EAP, SQL and PL/SQL

·       Solid experience in frontend development in Vue.js, ReactJS

·       Candidates with these technologies’ skills/ soft skills will be an advantage:

-          Experience in tertiary institutions

-          Knowledge of Oracle RDBMS & ERP applications

-          Familiarity with Python and R

-          Experience in Business intelligence and data analytics

-          Experience in Platforms and integrating AI/ML models

-          Experience in Developing and implementing AI/ML algorithms

·       Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese

·       Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal skills and team player with communication skills

·       Candidates with extensive experience will be considered as Senior Analyst Programmer
