Network Engineer (5 days work)

• 2 yrs experience in switching, routing, firewall
• CCNA / CCNP holder is an advantage
• 5 days work, non office hour work for incident

Responsibility:

• Support and maintain the local and WAN network infrastructure and perimeter security devices with standard designs and configurations, take part in technical product planning, development and deployment.
• Work in line with ASL business requirements and customer security guidelines and thereby provide constant support till the closure of the assigned tasks.
• Prepare and deliver training to the team and review existing technical network diagrams, documentation and associated system processes pertaining to the configuration of the entire network, in line with ASL & Customer standards.
• Maintain up to date levels of operating systems, configurations, backups and all associated documentation, at all times, all while ensuring Company and Team change management processes and procedures are followed correctly.
• Participate in the meetings pertaining to new build activities and understand the scope work.
• Develop and maintain good relationship with customers

Requirements:

• Degree or above in Computer Information Systems or Computer Science
• At least 2 years work experience in switching, routing, firewall technologies and network security principles. Cisco(R&S), Firewalls (Checkpoint & CISCO ASA).
• Exposure to and knowledge of the following: Load Balancing, High Availability, Switching & Routing technologies, Network Monitoring, Policy Based Routing, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, HSRP/VRRP and IPSEC etc.
• Good command of both written and spoken in Chinese, English and Mandarin
• Able to work well under pressure and under low supervision.
• Holder of CCNA / CCNP is definitely and advantage.
• Occasionally work in non-office hour as project needs for change implementation & handle incident.
• Immediate availability is highly preferred
