Youth Worker (Sustainability and Global Leadership) (HKFYG Leadership Institute)

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The HKFYG Leadership Institute is looking for a high-caliber candidate who is positive, self-motivated, futuristic, and committed to serving young people with a strong drive to strive for continual improvement and a high level of personal integrity. The Institute is located at the revitalised Former Fanling Magistracy. As a member of the professional team, you will be able to unleash your potential through hands-on experiences, strategic planning, and a wide range of exposures with a vibrant network of partners in Hong Kong, across Mainland China, and the world. Through your efforts and teamwork, you will also be able to Make Wonders with young people.

We are looking for effective team members with focus on sustainability and global leadership, minimum 2-year working experience required. The job description is as below:

• Assisting in planning, developing, and organising incoming and outgoing leadership training programmes and courses related to Sustainability, United Nations Sustainability Development Goals and related areas so that participants will be able to connect Hong Kong with China and the world;
• Assisting in funding project design, implementation and evaluation;
• Engaging overseas young leaders in our programmes and connect them with our young talents to make local and global impact through expanding or/and extending their initiated projects;
• Assisting in implementing strategies for sustainable development and talent management

The candidate will also be assigned other duties.

Entry Requirements:

Study Fields:

• Recognised University graduate in Chinese Languages, Social Sciences, Business Administration, Marketing, Education or any environmental-related disciplines

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Minimum 2-year working experience required;
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese;
• Proficiency in writing and communication skills;
• Strong organisational, multitasking, and time management skills;
• Be tech-savvy

Additional Requirements:
