SEN Counsellor, Student Affairs Office (Ref.: 25/46/SEN/COUNSELLOR)

Duties:

The appointee will be required to (a) provide training workshops; (b) provide individual or group emotional coaching sessions; (c) assist coordinator in organizing events related to building SEN caring culture; and (d) act as teaching assistant for academic staff who need teaching support for SEN students.

Appointment Criteria:

Applicants should (a) have a recognized Master’s degree in Social Work or Counselling or relevant disciplines ; (b) must be a registered member (or eligible for registration) of the Hong Kong Professional Counselling Association (HKPCA) or an equivalent body; (c) have at least 5 years’ of experience in case and group work in SEN or related services in Hong Kong; (d) have a mature and pleasant personality with good team spirit, communication skills and interpersonal relationship, be proactive in work and able to work independently, efficiently and responsibly; (e) have a good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua); and (f) be proficient in computer skills.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
