Assistant Logistics Manager

Responsibilities:

• Liaise internally with Sales/Purchasing Department in China and externally with Freight Forwarder and customers to ensure freight bookings and shipments are on a timely basis;
• Oversee inbound and outbound inventory movements to ensure accuracy and timeliness;
• Lead a small team for the entire shipping operation including I/E documentation, shipment schedules and logistics arrangements;
• Liaise with suppliers, carriers and forwarders to ensure timely shipment;
• Skillful in using ERP;
• Willing travel to China (Daily);
• Complete other ad-hoc tasks assigned by general manager;

Requirements:

• Tertiary educated in Logistics, Business Management, or related discipline;
• At least 5 years of working experience in logistics/shipping operations;
• Experience in handling and well-versed with the full set of I/E, L/C, and banking documents;
• Proficiency in PC Skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook);
• Energetic, proactive with a positive mindset, well organized and multitasking;
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Mandarin;
