Manager, Warehouse

About the role

XH Supply Chain Management (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee the efficient and effective operation of our warehousing facility. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the warehouse, supervising a team of warehouse operatives, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.

What you'll be doing

1. Manage the overall warehouse operations, including inventory control, stock replenishment, order fulfilment, and the use of warehouse management systems

2. Supervise and motivate a team of warehouse operatives, providing training and development opportunities to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge

3. Implement and monitor warehouse performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions

4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of products to customers

5. Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all employees

6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and other key stakeholders

7. Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans to drive continuous improvement and enhance the overall efficiency of the warehouse operation

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in a warehouse management role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry

2. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field

3. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems, inventory control, and logistical processes

4. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively

5. A proactive and innovative mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and the implementation of best practices

6. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and data analysis tools

7. Good in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
