Assistant Buying Manager / Buying Manager (Beauty & Women Textile Product)

Responsibilities

• Experience in women’s, market / products is a must (such as lingerie / skincare / personal care)
• Formulate & execute product developments and portfolios plan in matching the demand or operational needs, authorize payments, and ensure items meet company quality standards.
• Lead the product development process from research and analyze market trends, sales data, and customer feedback to predict future demands and identify profitable opportunities.
• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate prices, quantities, and delivery schedules, and may create or approve contractual agreements.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking, working with the inventory management team to resolve issues.
• Work within established budgets, analyze past buying trends, and evaluate the value and yield of merchandise to make sound financial decisions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align product strategy with overall marketing and business objectives
• Provide timely product evaluations and participate in judging panels
• Handle ad-hoc assignments and other duties

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in buying areas, preferably from apparel, or skincare, or personal care service / product sector.  More experience will consider as assistant manager or manager.
• Degree or above in fashion or textile retailing, purchasing, supply Chain or related business management fields.
• Result-driven mindset, strong business acumen with a detail-oriented and proactive approach
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a proven buying track record
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, good at both written and spoken English, Chinese & Cantonese
• Proficiency in MS Excel, good command of written and spoken English, Chinese & Cantonese
• Energetic, team-oriented, and capable of multitasking effectively under pressure
• Business trips to overseas is required if in need
• Priority to the person work in immediately
