QA Manager (Home, Apparel & Textile) Based in Shanghai/Shenzhen

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and manage Supervisors and Inspectors to deliver high-quality inspection services for Connor in China.

• Identify and document quality issues and vendor performance problems; propose effective solutions for non-conformities related to inspection services and quality systems.

• Oversee pre-production, in-line, pre-final, and final inspections in accordance with resource availability and customer requirements.

• Ensure sufficient staffing and resources within the Quality Assurance Department to meet inspection demands across China.

• Independently manage, direct, and discipline staff as necessary to maintain performance standards.

• Implement proactive measures to prevent the occurrence of non-conformities in the inspection service and management systems.

• Perform other reasonable ad hoc duties as assigned by superiors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering or a related field.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality management.

• Strong sense of integrity and adherence to high ethical standards.

• Capable of handling multiple tasks and engaging with suppliers and factories.

• Proficient in English and Chinese (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).

• Demonstrated experience in leading and developing teams; ability to influence stakeholders at all levels to drive change and continuous improvement.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external parties.

• Flexible mindset with strong problem-solving skills and a pragmatic approach.
