System Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Provide support in maintenance and administration of IT server/storage infrastructure
• Provide hardware and software installation, patch update and upgrade
• Monitor the performance of the infrastructure and performance
• Manage system security as per security policies and standards
• Conduct problem analysis and liaise with other team to resolve issue
• Maintain system documentation and asset inventory management
• Responsible for the implementation of infrastructure related projects

Qualifications:

• Possess a bachelor degree in Information System, Computer Studies or related disciplines is preferred
• 5 years or above solid working experience in related field is preferred
• Technical knowledge and experience with the following:

• Administration of Microsoft Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and File Service

  • Administration of Linux servers and applications including Bind, Apache, SSH
  • Nutanix HCI and VMware ESXi
  • Veeam Backup Solutions or similar backup solution
  • Scripting such as shell scripts or PowerShell
• Banking industry experience is at an advantage
• Fast learner, able to learn new technologies swiftly
• Demonstrated strong problem solving ability
• Self-motivated, strong self-discipline, and possess proactive working attitude
• Good team player
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Company Introduction

As a bank consortium, JETCO currently has more than 30 member banks and connects around 3,000 ATMs in Hong Kong and Macau to provide convenient and reliable ATM services across both locations. JETCO ATM switching network also connects to multiple international ATM networks.

In 2018, The Hong Kong Monetary Authority designated the relevant payment systems operated by JETCO for the processing of Hong Kong retail payment transactions as a designated retail payment system (“designated RPS”) pursuant to the Payment Systems and Stored Value Facilities Ordinance (“PSSVFO”).

In 2019, JETCO launched JETCO APIX, the first open API exchange platform in Hong Kong.  By riding on JETCO APIX, banks and other institution customers can interconnect with their business partners in various industries via API to co-develop innovative products and services for improving service quality and customer experience.

In 2022, JETCO CDI Portal for data consumers launched for supporting banks to easily onboard to Commercial Data Interchange (“CDI”), and JETCO has been named as a solution provider of CDI.  In 2023, JETCO CDI Portal has extended to support data providers to onboard to CDI.  Moreover, JETCO CDI APIs & value-added features for data consumers were launched.  Coming will have more value-added features launching for both data consumers and data providers.

In July 2024, JETCO IADS Proxy Service launched for supporting banks to participate HKMA’s Interbank Account Data Sharing (“IADS”) programme as the data consuming bank to retrieve their customers’ bank account data from other banks subject to customer consents.

In October 2024, JETCO has joined as the participant in Project Ensemble and has connected to Ensemble Sandbox, as well as completed PoC by partnering with banks to testify Payment-versus-Payment (“PvP”) and Delivery-versus-Payment (“DvP”) scenarios.
