Application Scientist (5 Days Work)

Responsibilities: 

• To coordinate and conduct technical training or demonstrations for our products.

• To provide application or troubleshooting support to customers in experimental design, data processing, software operation, sample preparation and chemical reaction. Perform preliminary on-site visit to identify root cause and feedback.

• To match the application needs of customers with our products and advise workflow-oriented solutions to customers.

• To develop and maintain good relationships with customers.

• To support sales efforts and business growth through technical presentations or organizing workshops/seminars.

• Closely work with Sales representatives, Product specialists, and Field Service Engineers to ensure customer success on our products.

• To provide internal product training to departments such as Sales, and Marketing.

• Maintain proficiency in all product lines, instruments as well as applications.

• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of current commercial products, research strategies, and competitors.

• To create reports on completion of duty outcome to supervisor(s).

• To proactively share experience, knowledge and skills to peers and help to build an organization with strong professionalism.

• To develop, plan, implement and monitor effective strategies to succeed in marketing tasks and events for product promotion to meet or exceed sales targets.

   

Requirements:

• Master's degree or above in Chemistry related fields. 

• Laboratory experience in spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, or related analytical techniques.

• A good understanding of genomics and proteomics

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, and capable of delivering work independently or as a team.

• Demonstrated excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills
