Quality Assurance Officer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Officer to join our team and oversee the quality of our sous vide cooked products, ground meats, and boxed meats. In this crucial role, you will ensure that our products meet all specifications. This is a full-time position with excellent opportunities for career advancement within our dynamic organization.

What you'll be doing

• Perform quality assurane supervision during the manufacturing process to ensure product conformity
• Liaise with on-site QA and production teams to ensure product complaince and correct labeling
• Investigate and follow-up on customer compliants and perform investigation into causes and create corrective and preventive action
• Understand the current food regulations and the regulatory requirements for raw materials and finished products
• Create and review product labels to ensure compliance with food labelling laws in Hong Kong
• Create product specification sheet and ensure compliance
• Assist in the preparation of second and third party audits
• Other Ad-Hoc tasks as requested by management

What we're looking for

• Bachelor degree or above in Food Science or related disciplines
• Minimum 2 years experience in the frozen processed food product category
• Good understanding of ISO, HACCP, FSSC, BRC and Halal compliance
• Willing to travel to manufacturing facility in Nansha, China
• Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English
• Highly organised and able to multitask effectively
• Proficient in data analysis and reporting
