Key responsibilities:
- Support the Head (Communications, External Affairs & Development) in promoting the brand of the School of Engineering.
- Support and execute outreach initiatives through both internal and external engagements, including Information Day and the Asian Deans’ Forum.
- Manage the Student Ambassador Program.
- Assist in managing the School’s social media platforms and website, including content creation and editing.
- Utilize digital marketing tools and platforms to amplify faculty visibility and reach target audiences.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of experience.
- Experience in communication, marketing, and/or events management in tertiary education is a plus.
- Good team player with the ability to handle multiple tasks, open-minded, and with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
- Adequate IT skills for producing marketing materials.
- Great organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Willingness to work outside normal office hours and on weekends occasionally.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
(Duration: 2 years, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
