Associate Chemical Process Engineer / Chemical Process Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for powders and lubricants. 

• Leading in failure analysis of routine quality issue

• Leading new project development including cost estimation, DFM, ESI, trial run, SOP  and transfer to production

• Perform new machine commissioning with maintenance team

• Support on tooling / fixture design & improvement

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related field.

• 3-5 years of experience in chemical engineering, preferably in the powder or lubricant manufacturing industry.

• Independent, self-motivated, and well-organized team player with strong communication skills

• Good command in both spoken and written English and Putonghua

• Excellent communication and analytical skills to work with different cross functional teams.

• 6S mindset knowledge

• Strong knowledge of chemical processes, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics.

• Experience with process design, optimization, and scale-up.                   

• Familiar with quality control /analysis tools such as DOE, SPC, QFD etc

• Strong detail oriented, problem solving and drive continuous improvement in existing working processes
