Technical & Safety Manager

Reporting to the General Manager. The incumbent is responsible for several key functional areas of AFSC Companies.

- Management and provision of Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental Services.

- Coordination of initiatives and development activities on quality assurance.

- Identification of needs and development/ implementation of training programs to improve operational effectiveness for all operational personnel.

- Acting as an advisor on operational policies, procedures, and remedies to deficiencies.

- Keeping operation, quality control and HSE procedure manuals up-to-date, and conduct operations and HSE compliance checks.

- Development of culture on continual improvement.

Qualifications / Experience

- Minimum of ten years operations experience in the oil related industry.

- Completed university/tertiary college education, or relevant experience in lieu.

- Background training in engineering or a technical discipline.

- Relevant qualification/experience in health & safety management.

- Experience with a very broad scope of technical problems and HSE compliance issues of moderate to advanced complexity.

- Fully conversant with Jet A-1 Quality Control Procedures.

- Fully conversant with Tankfarm and Refuelling Operations.

- Strong interpersonal skills

- Training experience is essential.

- Computer literate

- Fluent in English/Cantonese. Working knowledge in Mandarin.
