Analyst Programmer (BI/Crystal Report)

About The Role: 

• Development and Programming of web based application system;

• Provide program documentation and update system specification document;

• Review and perform re-coding to migrate existing source code to a newer environment (e.g. EJB 2.1 or EJB 4.0)

• Take part in function test after recording/recompilation;

• Take part in user interview workshop to review and confirm system specifications and test cases;

• Assistance in System Analysis and Design;

• Implementation of  Business Intelligence system and reporting software;

• Produce project reports and specifications;

• Conduct function tests and support system assurance and user acceptance tests

About You: 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent;

• At least two (2) years IT experience that covers one (1) or more of the following areas (viz., functional/speciality experience):

  • Participate in the development of web-based application system and ensure program testing meets user requirements;

  • Produce and maintain well documented programs that adhere to standards and satisfy user requirements, provide end-user support services in computer related matters;

  • Assist in the system analysis and design;

  • Implementation of the proposed business intelligence tool or reporting software;

  • Take up web-based application system programming on high availability IT infrastructure adopting Java EE (J2EE) on Linux or Windows server platform; or

  • Produce project reports and specifications in accordance with the standards approved by the Government and,

  • At least one (1) year IT experience of implementation of the proposed FineBI business intelligence tool or SAP Crystal Report software which duration may overlap with the minimum duration of the functional/specialty experience.
