IT Support Officer

About the role

As an IT Support Officer at Plan International Hong Kong, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to ensure the smooth operation of the organisation's IT systems and infrastructure. This is a full-time position based in Ngau Tau Kok, Kwun Tong District.

What you'll be doing

• Respond to and resolve user IT-related inquiries and issues on time

• Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network-related problems

• Assist with the installation, configuration, maintenance and upgrade of computers, printers, and other IT equipment

• Perform regular backups and monitor system performance to ensure data integrity and security

• Coordinate with external IT service providers and vendors for hardware and software support

• Maintain the security measures, efficiency and audits to protect the organisation's digital assets

• Contribute to the documentation and implementation of IT policies, procedures, strategy and initiatives to enhance the organisation's IT capabilities

• Conduct training and create user guides to leverage IT tools effectively and efficiently.

• Support for the CRM of Raiser's Edge, including managing configurations, troubleshooting issues, training users, and ensuring a smooth operation of this crucial system for fundraising efforts.

What we're looking for

• Relevant diploma or degree in Information Technology or a related field

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar IT support role

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Proficient in using a variety of software applications, operating systems, and hardware

• Good communication and customer service skills are required to effectively assist users

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Familiarity with IT security best practices
