Job Description
Key responsibilities:

Design strategies for enterprise databases, data warehouse systems, and multidimensional networks. Set standards for database operations, programming, query processes, and security. Model, design, and construct large relational databases or data warehouses. Create and optimize data models for warehouse infrastructure and workflow. Integrate new systems with existing warehouse structure and refine system performance and functionality.

Perform Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) of data
- Ingesting and Cleaning of 2 to 3 new data sets
- Automate the cleaning and upload of new data-sets

Develop 2 new dashboards utilizing the new data sets
- Maintenance of Current Data Sets
- Extract data to S3 Advana Path
-
Create staging, fact and dimension tables using the extracted data
- Develop reporting tables
Job Requirements:
-
Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
-
3 to 10+ years of directly related experience
-
High-level proficiency in R and/or SQL for data manipulation, extraction, and transformation tasks
-
Proven ability to support exploratory data analysis efforts
-
Experience with developing and implementing data pipelines, utilizing ETL platforms and languages such as Databricks, Python, Spark, Scala, JavaScript/JSON, PL-SQL

Hands-on experience maintaining and optimizing data pipelines and automation efforts
-
Preferred experience:
- Experience with building Dashboard visualizations through Qlik or similar BI tools
- Experience with cloud data structures such as AWS S3, delta and external tables
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality results with little direction/oversight
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and communicating technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences

Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results independently
