Job Description
We are looking for talents to conduct analysis on trend & theme and make subsequent design board and sample collection for presentation. The incumbent shall work closely with both internal departments and external parties:
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research collecting trend information on future fashion trends
- Develop materials for trend presentation to customers
- Assist manager determining key themes for the subsequent development season
- Identify designs / patterns and boards for sample collection
- Work with internal departments and external parties to source materials and prepare sample collection
- Communicate with factories and provide support to Product Development Manager to follow-up on any related sample or order enquiries on a daily basis.
- Prepare product development and shipment samples and fabric swatches each season and upon customers' requests.
Requirements
- Degree holder, preferably in Fashion & Textiles related subjects
- Minimum of 2 years working experience
- Good understanding of American apparel brands with fabric knowledge
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, and with good business acumen
- Detail-oriented, able to work under pressure
- Proficient PC applications in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese including Mandarin
