• At least 2 - 5 years exp in lab, engineer specialized in Household App
• Knowledge in LVD and EMC, RED is a must

Responsibilities

• Products Pre-Qualification: Assessing the compliance of the technical materials (test reports and certificates) and samples proposed by the commercial teams. Monitoring the modifications required on the products.
• Products Qualification: Assigning the testing laboratories according to different criteria (price, scope, performance, etc). Creating the Qualification Test Program and follow-up of the activities. Follow-up of and implementation of corrective actions if any non-compliance is detected. Validation of mandatory markings (packaging and instruction manual). Confirming OK Production to the factories and commercial teams.
• Quality Control: Determination of the control plan before shipment. Providing the inspection materials (checklists, technical documentations) required by the production team and inspectors to control the quality and conformity of the actual production. Reviewing all Quality Control reports received and releasing the consignments.
• Following the daily activities with the Merchandisers.

Requirements

• Degree or higher diploma holder in Engineering
• At least 2 - 5 years working experience in laboratory, engineer specialized in Household Appliances.
• Experience in a buying office in similar position is a plus
• Knowledge in LVD and EMC, RED is a must
• With critical mind when analyzing product construction, safety (risk analysis) and compliance
• Able to follow product qualification with external laboratory and monitor the modifications required
• Capable of decision making for the great of the product and company
• Solid experience to work with suppliers to ensure the best quality of our products. Proactively provide technical advice and resolve technical problems.
• With great team spirit and excellent communication skills across departments (quality, commercial, etc.)
• Proactive, Curious and Customer oriented
• Proficient in English and Mandarin
• Factory visit may be required
• Working Location: Quarry Bay
