Assistant General Manager of Quality Assurance

Job Requirements: -

• Bachelor's Degree or higher with major in Quality Management of Science /Total Quality Engineering or any relevant disciplines
• Min. 9 years of working experience in quality management including at least 5 years in managerial level within a sizeable organization within the manufacturing industry
• Experience in the automotive and consumer electronics industries is highly preferable
• Solid exposure in quality management systems, data processing and analytics, and process optimization is required
• Fluency in both written and spoken of Cantonese, English, and Mandarin
• Able to manage various work cultural people by resulted oriented manner
• Willing to work under pressure and moving towards a positive direction
• Good communication skills and the ability to transform conventional work practices.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Leadership and strong team management skills.
• Possess an extroverted character and speak up during negotiations.
• Stationed in Dongguan, PRC with occasional travel to Mexico required

Candidate with less experience will be considered as Senior Manager of Quality Assurance

Job Responsibilities: -

• Develop and implement regional and global (China and Mexico) quality strategies aligned with EMS's business objectives.
• Establish and maintain quality management systems (QMS), including creating and updating quality assurance procedures, implementing inspection standards, and managing documentation.
• Lead and manage quality teams, including QA engineers, inspectors, IPQCs, and IQCs, while fostering a quality culture within the organization.
• Work closely with internal departments (engineering, production, etc.) and suppliers to ensure material quality, implement corrective actions, and provide technical expertise on quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949), customer requirements, and government regulations.
• Oversee internal and external audits and manage corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes.
• Develop quality metrics, monitor performance, and conduct root cause analyses to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous quality improvement throughout all stages of the product lifecycle.
• Act as a key technical contact for product quality issues and ensure products meet customer needs and expectations throughout the development and manufacturing process.
