Student Support & Activities in the Dean of Students' Office supports student organizations and student-led activities and manages student funding and amenities. Reporting to the Head of Student Support & Activities, the appointee is expected to perform the following duties:
- Provide administrative and logistics support for student leadership programs and activities, including onsite assistance, financial matters, and reporting, etc;
- Assist in producing publicity materials (e.g., posters, mass emails, social media platforms);
- Perform basic website and database maintenance and update;
- Perform administrative support to funding schemes and advise students on activity proposals and budget plans;
- Handle venue booking requests and enquiries; and
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Holder of a bachelor's degree with at least 1 year of relevant post-qualification work experience;
- Good interpersonal skills and passion for working with youth;
- Independent, attentive to details, self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility;
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint); and
- Occasionally working outside regular office hours is required.
- Knowledge of website management, graphic design, or video editing will be an advantage.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written and IT test.
(Duration: 2 years, renewable subject to satisfactory performance.)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
