Head of Business Operations & Technology

Reporting to Chief Executive Officer, the Head of Business Operations & Technology will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic & initiatives to optimize the organizational performance, efficiency and effectiveness to meet our business expansion.

Key Responsibilities in Business Operations

• Evaluate existing processes, analyze internal operations and identify areas for process enhancement transformation which helps to ensure the smooth running of the business.

• Design and implement business strategies, operational plans, and SOPs, overseeing execution to achieve both short-term and long-term operational goals.

• Builds strong alignment with all department heads to ensure seamless communication and consistent operational practices.

• Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and strategic partners.

• Serve as a conduit between senior management and operational teams, translating high-level strategies into actionable plans that drive business outcomes.

• Keep the Management Team informed with timely and transparent updates on day-to-day operations and progress toward established goals.

Key Responsibilities in Technology Management

• Lead initiatives to Identify and leverage technology trends (e.g., Automation, AI, Data Analytics) to enhance operational efficiency.

• Provide hands-on leadership in ERP system implementation and optimization (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite), ensuring systems meet business needs.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT strategies with overall business objectives and drive integrated digital transformation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related discipline

• Over 10 years of experience in business operations and process management, with robust IT expertise,  preferably in Retail / Food / FMCG sectors

• Hands-on experience in identifying process gaps and implementing scalable solutions

• Strong analytical mindset paired with sound business judgment to drive performance and innovation

• Experience navigating both large corporate environments and SME settings, offering a well-rounded operational perspective

• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including clients and suppliers

• Adept at managing multiple priorities in dynamic and fast-paced environments

• Fluent in English, Chinese and Mandarin, enabling effective cross-cultural communication
