The appointee will be responsible for rendering administrative and clerical support on event management, duties include (a) providing clerical and logistical support to the Faculty’s events and initiatives; (b) maintaining database and managing web forms; (c) handling procurement, payment procedures and their documentations; (d) handling daily administration and operation; and (e) performing other tasks as assigned. Irregular working hours (including evenings, weekends and public holidays) will be required occasionally.
Applicants should have (i) completed secondary education; (ii) Grade E/Level 2 or above in at least 5 subjects in HKCEE, including Chinese and English (Syllabus B); OR any combination of results in at least 5 HKDSE subjects (including Level 2 or above in Chinese and English): Level 2 or above in NSS subjects, “Attained” or above in ApL subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects), and Grade E or above in Other Language subjects; (iii) fast and accurate typing skills; (iv) 1 year’s work experience in administrative or event support; (v) proficiency in computer applications (including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint), and knowledge of database development and maintenance; (vi) a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua and Cantonese); (vii) agility, a meticulous attitude and attentiveness to details, especially with data and figures; (viii) the ability to work independently and as a team member to handle multi-tasks and work under tight schedule; and (ix) a positive and self-motivated work attitude with a strong sense of responsibility.

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to 2 years (with contract-end gratuity for a 2-year contract), renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
