Contract IT Senior Systems Analyst / Systems Analyst – Technical

Responsibilities:

• Manage vendors to ensure effective solution design and implementation.

• Develop prototypes to illustrate business ideas and contribute to new project initiatives.

• Collaborate with business users, internal technical teams, and external vendors throughout the system development life cycle—covering system design, implementation, testing, training, issue resolution, and documentation.

• Conduct technical evaluations and assessments of emerging solutions and products.

• Perform various system analysis, development, and support tasks related to enterprise applications and infrastructure.

• Provide occasional after-hours system support as needed.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on software development experience in full-cycle software projects.

• Practical experience with:

  • Frontend/Frameworks: Next.js, React

  • Backend/Programming Languages: Python, Java, or .NET

  • Platforms/Tools: Linux, Docker

  • Databases: PL/SQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB

• Familiarity with modern AI concepts and tools, including Generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embedding techniques, and vector databases.

• Comfortable with development environments such as VSCode, Jupyter Notebook, Docker, and Ubuntu Linux.

• Strong grasp of the complete software development life cycle from planning to deployment.

• Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese (written and spoken).

• Strong stakeholder and vendor management capabilities, with a proactive and adaptable mindset.

• Capable of working independently on requirements gathering, system design, coding, testing, and implementation.
