Power BI specialist (WestK)

We are looking for a Power BI specialist to join our client's fast-growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with business users including C-Level management to understand their data analysis and reporting needs. Translate these requirements into technical specifications and develop appropriate Power BI solutions.

• Data Modelling and Transformation: Lead the design and implement data models that optimize data retrieval and analysis.  Perform data cleansing, transformation, and aggregation to ensure data accuracy and integrity within Power BI.

• Dashboard Development: Build reports and dashboards using Power BI. Customize visualizations, create calculated measures, and implement advanced data analytics techniques to meet specific reporting requirements.

• BI system operation: Liaise with external vendor to perform change and incident management including security configuration changes, provide quick fix and long-term solution.  Maintain documents and incident reports to the Authority’s IT Service Management.

• Working location: West Kowloon Cultural District Authority (On-site)

Requirements:

• Have a minimum 5 years of BI dashboard and data analysis experience.

• Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing Power BI solutions.

• Strong understanding of data modelling, data warehousing, and data integration concepts.

• Experience with data visualization and dashboard design principles.

• Be technically creative, analytical with a methodical approach in problem solving.
