Our client, a leading construction firm, is seeking an Infrastructure & Security Specialist to join their growing team. You're a key player in driving reliable IT operations—overseeing networks, securing systems, maintaining servers, and supporting infrastructure enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain LAN/WAN networks and servers, ensuring stable and secure connectivity across systems.
• Monitor network performance, conduct regular troubleshooting, and support server farm upgrades in collaboration with vendors.
• Perform routine server tasks including VM host maintenance, backups, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
• Support daily IT operations and ensure systems are updated with the latest patches, while safeguarding data through backup and recovery processes.
• Prepare and maintain ISO 27001:2022 documentation and technical specifications to ensure compliance and support infrastructure planning.
• Assist with site office network setup, conduct vulnerability assessments, and coordinate with vendors for hardware support and procurement.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Networking or related disciplines
• At least 3 years’ experience in IT infrastructure with solid knowledge of network protocols, server management, and system administration.
• Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies such as Nessus, firewalls, VPNs, DLP, IPS, and antivirus solutions.
• Proven ability to implement and maintain robust security measures, including access controls and threat prevention systems.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for resolving complex technical issues efficiently.
• Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
• Familiarity with platforms like Microsoft Azure, AWS, and VMware; relevant certifications (e.g. ITIL, CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH) are a plus.
