Production Manager (Vietnam stationed)

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to be based in our Vietnam operations. As the Production Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day manufacturing processes and ensuring the efficient production of our high-quality products.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demands and business objectives
• Manage and coordinate production staff, monitoring performance and providing guidance and support
• Identify and resolve production issues, implementing continuous improvement measures to enhance efficiency and quality
• Collaborate with the supply chain teams to optimise material flow and inventory management
• Analyse production data and provide comprehensive reports to senior management
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
• Drive and implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline operations

What we're looking for

• 10 years of experience as a Production Manager or in a similar role
• Proven track record of successfully managing production operations and implementing process improvements
• Strong knowledge of production planning, inventory management, and quality control best practices
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically
• Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to interpret and act on production metrics
• Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team
• Fluency in both English and Mandarin
